MRC is an interlocking clamp system to reinforce the corroded pipe wall. Pipeline restoration by MRC clamps withstand original operating pressure and meets expected operating life. Optional length is the main advantage of MRC clamps, as during installation, contractor will adjust the clamping area based on corroded length. So, there is no need to have clamps with different lengths. MRC can be also used as Bend Limiter for critical sections of sub-sea pipelines.
